Growing a Hunger-Free World
Ending hunger isn't just about feeding hungry people. It's also about tackling the root causes of hunger. With a just few changes, the Farm Bill can help do just that. By meeting immediate needs and equipping communities to feed themselves, we can break the cycle of hunger — for real, for good.

The Farm Bill is a one-of-a-kind legislation with a 90-year legacy of empowering farmers and fighting hunger.
By purchases surplus food from American farmers, provisions in the Farm Bill help feed children and families living in places where reliable sources of food no longer exist. But the work can't stop there. We need a Farm Bill that helps those communities rebuild local farms and progress toward feeding themselves.
Disruptions from violent conflict, rising food costs, and extreme weather events drive more and more families to hunger every day.
Addressing hunger means tackling these root causes with the proven tools we know work. That's why World Vision's food programs invest in building resilient local farms and equipping farmers with improved farming techniques that increase crop yield and resist drought. We need a Farm Bill that also invests in long-term solutions to hunger, not just treat the symptoms.
