There are a few different ways to get involved with World Vision advocacy. We encourage you to learn about our Online Advocate Network and our more active Volunteer Advocate Community to see which option might be best for you at this time.
Online Advocate Network
Join our online community of ordinary people who desire to follow God’s call to seek justice. We stand up and speak up for the poor, the afflicted, the oppressed, and the marginalized. How? By emailing and calling members of Congress in regards to legislation and issues that affect children around the world. By signing up for the network, you'll receive regular updates that will help us advocate for others together.
Volunteer Advocate Community
In addition to your online activism, you can make an even more powerful impact for kids around the world by joining our on-the-ground Volunteer Advocate Community. As a World Vision Volunteer Advocate, you’ll join an active, supportive community of Christ-followers who influence members of Congress relationally, in partnership with World Vision staff. You don’t need prior experience – we’ll provide all the training you need.
Phone Action Team
Your voice can move mountains! We’re looking for courageous advocates who aren’t afraid to pick up the phone to encourage their member of Congress to make positive and bipartisan policy changes that allow all children to live the full lives God intended. Sign up and you'll get one or two text messages each month about advocating by phone about a pressing issue that affects children’s safety, health, or opportunities.
